The Roof Garden, good weather permitting, is a green open space which houses tables and chairs, benches, and a shed. Hanging baskets and trellises are situated along fencing at the perimeters, while a variety of flowers, herbs and vegetables are grown in the garden. These are then used during “Grow, Cook and Eat” sessions in the youth club which promote healthy eating among children and young people.

Part of our wide range of activities we offer children and young people the opportunity to take part in gardening to grow to eat. You will be invited to do some planting, weeding, pruning as well as keeping the garden tidy. The garden area is open throughout the week for sessions and relaxation. Gardening activities take place at the following times:

- Tuesday 6.00 – 9.00pm

- Saturday 3.00 – 6.00pm
